Cox Cookies and Cake {Patrick Cox & Eric Lanlard}
It would seem that our love affair with the cupcake is still going strong. Every sophisticated suburb and chic city location has a bakery serving up artistic and stylish cupcakes with the finest and freshest ingredients.
However this new couture cake shop, a collaboration between cobbler Patrick Cox and French Master Patissier Eric Lanlard breaks the boundaries. The store concept of Cox Cookies and Cake is a refreshing alternative; It has more of a dark, submissive, provocative ambience than that of the whimsical, gingham, pretty girly bakeries that are a surplus. The bakery staff wear black leather studded aprons adding that edgy element that blends in with the Soho surroundings.
Patisserie snobs need to step through the doors to experience the delightful recipes which were initially inspired by Cox's Canadian childhood.

13 Brewer Street, Soho

A small spotlight on the excellent concept of smart backpack "SeilBag" which has the particularity to indicate to motorists the direction taken by a cyclist with a small LED display. Controlled by a small remote control, it can also display a range of emoticons, but also a danger signal in case of automatic braking.
